Scheduled Maintenance on cPanel Web Hosting Servers – 21/12/2011 to 23/12/2011
We would like to advise of an upcoming schedule of maintenance on all cPanel web hosting machines within our hosting infrastructure. During the maintenance windows specified, the cPanel backend will undergo a configuration update which will improve data resource management. Improvement in data management inside cPanel means a prevention of outages associated with /var usage on the servers in question.
Outage date: see below table for dates per cPanel server
Maintenance window: 11pm to 4am AEDT (GMT +1100)
Outage duration: 60 minutes per server in maintenance windows specified
Services affected and impact: Web and Email services will stop with Timeout errors during the 60 minute outage window. Incoming mail will be queued, no data will be lost.
