Scheduled Maintenance on cPanel Web Hosting Servers – 21/12/2011 to 23/12/2011

We would like to advise of an upcoming schedule of maintenance on all cPanel web hosting machines within our hosting infrastructure. During the maintenance windows specified, the cPanel backend will undergo a configuration update which will improve data resource management. Improvement in data management inside cPanel means a prevention of outages associated with /var usage on the servers in question.

Outage date: see below table for dates per cPanel server
Maintenance window: 11pm to 4am AEDT (GMT +1100)
Outage duration: 60 minutes per server in maintenance windows specified
Services affected and impact: Web and Email services will stop with Timeout errors during the 60 minute outage window. Incoming mail will be queued, no data will be lost.

Bendigo Migration to a New Web Hosting Platform

New Platform for our Customers: We are migrating all Bendigo Web Hosting Accounts to our own platform on the NetRegistry Hosting network. The migration will commence on Wednesday 2nd November, 2011.

Migration Commences:
9pm Wednesday 2nd November, 2011 (AEDT) Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time GMT+11

Expected Migration Window:
Approximately 12 hours

During this migration some users may have intermittent downtime. Migrations will be completed on a customer by customer basis. After migration, the domain name management section will have a new look and feel. This includes your cPanel web hosting control panel. If you have issues or questions relating to the new domain name management control panel and web hosting platform servers, please contact us on 1300 628 437.

This downtime will also impact on our resellers, small business customers and enterprise networks through out Australia only. Our USA and Canadian customers will not be impacted with this migration.
